The paper “Multivariate Crash Risk” by Fousseni Chabi-Yo, Markus Huggenberger, and Florian Weigert has been accepted for publication by the Journal of Financial Economics.

On Thursday, 15.07.2021, the 45th Annual Meeting of Mannheim Insurance Studies will take place virtually via Zoom.

Due to the retirement of the chairholder, the course offer will be limited starting from spring semester 2021.

In order to maintain the annual conference as a meeting platform, it will not take place in February 2021 as usual. Please note the change of date to Thursday, 15.07.2021.  Save the date: 45th Annual Mannheim Insurance Science Conference  

For their paper „Option-Implied Solvency Capital Requirements“ Jan Bauer and Markus Huggenberger received the „Best Conference Paper Award“ at the 13th International Risk Management Conference which was held virtually from October 9–10, 2020.

The kick-off meeting for the fall semester will take place on September 29, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. via zoom.

We are happy to inform you that we will be able to continue the lectures in FIN 560 and FIN 660 online as of March 24. You will receive more detailed information via ILIAS, shortly. The next exercise class in FIN 560 will be offered online on April 1.
