Who are the members of the new board?
The new members briefly introduce themselves below:

Lia

My name is Lia and I am in my fifth semester of law studies. Before starting my studies at the University of Mannheim, I was able to gain practical experience in tax consulting and auditing for over half a year. The insights I gained there strengthened my interest in tax law issues, which is why I deliberately chose to focus on tax law in my studies.

I am very pleased to be part of the MaFAT board again this year and to be able to take on responsibility for the marketing team. I am looking forward to an exciting year full of inspiring workshops and valuable experiences.

I find balance to my studies by going for walks with my dachshund and playing tennis or golf with friends.

Julian

My name is Julian and I am in my third semester of business administration studies. I was able to gain some practical experience in the world of taxation before I started my studies, so I have had a keen interest in taxation from the very beginning. That's why I was all the more excited about the exciting workshops and events offered by MaFAT. In my free time, I enjoy climbing and swimming.

I am looking forward to working as a board member and organising many exciting workshops as head of the workshop team.

Simon

My name is Simon and I am in my fifth semester of studying business administration. I developed a particular interest in accounting while at business school, which I was able to deepen and expand last year through my active involvement in the Student Club.

In addition, I have developed a growing enthusiasm for tax issues and have already gained a wide range of insights in this area.

In my free time, I enjoy sports and read regularly to balance my studies.

I am looking forward to another exciting year in the Student Club, to successful projects and enriching events!

Emanuel

I am Emanuel, currently in my fifth semester of my bachelor's degree in business administration, and I will be in Valencia, Spain, next semester. My passion for tax law was awakened early on by MaFAT, which gave me the opportunity to gain practical experience in tax consulting in the real estate sector.

It is a great honour for me to be part of the MaFAT Student Club's executive committee again this year. In my role as head of the Alumni Relations team, I am looking forward to the challenges ahead and to creating added value for the entire MaFAT.

In addition to my studies, I enjoy spending my free time on my racing bike or doing things with friends.

Marisa

My name is Marisa and I am currently in my third semester of business administration studies.

I have long been interested in taxes and auditing – this interest has been significantly reinforced by my first practical experience during an internship.

I am very pleased to be part of the MaFAT board this year and to be responsible for the People & Culture department. I am particularly excited about the joint projects, the exchange with other committed students and many valuable experiences.

In my free time, I enjoy playing sports and relaxing with friends over a cup of coffee.

The MaFAT Student Club has a new board structure:
We have reorganised our internal organisation somewhat.
Instead of a large board with a few people dealing with many different topics, there is now a smaller management team with clearly defined responsibilities. Each board member takes on a specific role and leads their own team with defined areas of responsibility.
This ensures a clearer distribution of roles, clear contact persons and, overall, structured and goal-oriented cooperation within the club.
