We are pleased to welcome Till Münster as Junior Professor of Taxation and Corporate Reporting to our Area. He is a newly appointed Assistant Professor of Accounting and Taxation at the University of Mannheim. His dissertation, which he completed in January 2025, focuses on the relationship between firms’ internal information flows and disclosure regulation, such as country-by-country reporting. More broadly, his research draws on data from corporate disclosures, capital markets, and labor-related sources to examine firms’ reporting practices and their responses to accounting regulation. He is also passionate about artificial intelligence and machine learning, both as a subject of study in accounting and taxation and as a methodological tool for his research.
