CHE-Ranking for Business Studies in Germany

Mannheim is rated top class in 14 out of 19 categories

The University of Mannheim, Business School received excellent results in the CHE-Ranking, published in the magazine “ZEIT-Studienführer 2020/2021”. It is rated top class in 14 out of 19 categories, the other 5 categories are rated as average.

The all over study situation, support during studies, study organization, support with regard to studies abroad and career orientation opportunities are among the best-rated categories. Furthermore, all components of facilities and equipment are top-rated.

The CHE-Ranking is the most detailed ranking in the German speaking region. Since 1998, more than 140 universities and 250 universities of applied sciences have been evaluated. About 120,000 students and 3,000 professors took part in the surveys for the current ranking. Besides facts regarding studies, facilities and research, the ranking informs on the judgement of students regarding their study conditions. Every year, 1/3 of the subjects of study are re-evaluated. 2020, the fields under review are: Business Administration, Economics, Law, Business Law, Social Work, Business Informatics, Business Engineering and for the first time, Business Psychology. The results are published on and in the latest edition of the “ZEIT Studienführer” magazine.
