EFMD awards Mannheim the five-year EQUIS accreditation

The international accreditation association EFMD values the School’s progress and strategy

For the fourth time in a row, the University of Mannheim, Business School, has obtained the EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) accreditation by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). The School holds the accreditation for five more years, which is the maximum duration awarded. This year, EFMD focused on progress and strategy of the School. This special accreditation is available for schools who were successfully assessed three times consecutively.

With this reaccreditation, the University of Mannheim, Business School, maintains the so called Triple Crown, which means the successful accreditation by the three largest and most influential business school accreditation organizations AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS.

Since 1997, EFMD grants the EQUIS accreditation to business schools worldwide and is regarded as one of the most renowned institutions of its kind. The aim of the EQUIS accreditation is to provide quality assessment in the business education field. Furthermore, it fosters the knowledge exchange between its member organizations.
