The Business School continues to expand its network of corporate partners. The most recent member is DZ BANK, the second largest commercial bank in Germany.

DZ BANK is the second largest commercial bank in Germany and the parent central institution in the Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken cooperative financial network of the German Cooperative Financial Group - the Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken. It serves as the central bank for all of the approximately 850 cooperative banks in Germany, which are its majority shareholders. The DZ BANK Group includes the Bausparkasse Schwäbisch Hall (construction society), DZ HYP (mortgage bank), DZ PRIVATBANK (savings and loan association), R+V Versicherung (insurance), TeamBank, Union Investment Group, VR Smart Finanz and various other specialistzed institutions. In the Partner Association of Mannheim Business Studies, DZ Bank BANK is represented by the Co-Chairman of the Board of Managing Directors, the Mannheim business administration graduate and Prechel Prize recipient, Dr. Cornelius Riese. “I continue to feel a strong bond with the University of Mannheim and am looking forward to our future cooperation”, said Dr. Cornelius Riese.
