Herbert Thomann achieved the Master's degree in Economic and Business Education with a minor in Political Science at the University of Mannheim in October 2021. Prior to university, he completed both a dual training as an retail management assistant (2009–2012) and further training as a Bachelor of Trade and Commerce (CCI) (2013–2015). During his studies he worked as a student assistant at the Chair for Competency Development and Training Quality at the University of Mannheim. Since May 2021, Herbert Thomann has been working as a research assistant at the Chair for Competency Development and Training Quality.
