In this course, concepts and methods for process analytics and process mining are theoretically presented and practically applied. This includes methods for process analytics (semantic checks, process matchings, etc.), methods for data mining applied to process data (clustering, classification, anomaly detection, etc.), and methods for process mining (process discovery, conformance checking, process enhancement).
After completing this course, you will be able to:
The lecture will take place each Thursday between 15:30 and 17:00 as an online course. The lectures will be held live via Zoom and will be uploaded as recordings to ILIAS afterwards.

Exercise sessions will take place on Mondays, both from 10:15 to 11:45 and from 15:30 to 17:00 (you can choose which of the sessions you wish to attend). After each lecture, we will publish a set of exercises and their solutions on ILIAS. The exercise sessions on Zoom are set up as digital walk-in hours where you can come in to ask questions about the exercises (preferably in a private video break-out). Since the subject matter of the course can only be learned by solving tasks yourself, the sessions are not intended as an opportunity for you to watch us solve the exercises.
