Double Degree Program Business Administration in Guanghua

Double Degree Program with the Guanghua School of Management at the Peking University

Combine your studies in Mannheim with a double degree in the “Future Leaders” program of the Guanghua School of Management at the Peking University, China. You spend the first half of your studies at the University of Mannheim, the other you study in China together with students from fourteen renowned business schools from all over the world. At the end you will receive the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim and a degree from the Chinese partner university.

The University of Mannheim is the only German university to participate in the Future Leaders Program.

Program structure

You start your studies at the University of Mannheim and can apply for the Double Degree study option in the third semester. The course contents of semester 1- 4 follow the regular course structure in Business Administration. From the fifth to the eighth semester you study at the Guanghua School of Management in China. Some of the attended courses there, including the bachelor thesis are credited in Mannheim. After successful completion of the program all participants will receive the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim and the Bachelor of Arts in Management from the Peking University.

  • What you should bring with you

    Excellent performance as well as social responsibility are expected from “Future Leaders”. Beside that a global view and a strong character are essential. 

    As an applicant you should be personally and professionally motivated and have the courage to think outside the box in academicals as well as in cultural matters. Beside good to very good grades and comprehensive language skills (very good English skills are necessary, further language skills are a bonus) you have strong intercultural and social competences. Extracurricular activities and practical experience will be advantageous. 

  • How to apply

    Interested students enrolled in the bachelor's program in Business Administration at the University of Mannheim may apply at the beginning of the third semester.

    The application documents have to be handed in at the International Office (AAA) until September 30. A detailed application instruction can be downloaded from the website of the AAA a few weeks before the application deadline. 

    No further documents are required at the application deadline than for the regular semester abroad. Further documents may be required prior to the selection interviews. 

     

  • Selection

    The selection panel will first examine the applications and shortlist the suitable candidates who will be invited to an interview.
