Studying around the Globe - International Business Education Alliance (IBEA)

The Business School of the University of Mannheim teamed up with leading international Business Schools from Brazil, France and the U.S. to form the “International Business Education Alliance” (IBEA). Since fall 2015, students who are enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Administration Program will be able to participate in the IBEA study option. IBEA students get the unique opportunity to not only improve their professional skills while studying at four excellent universities, but to also develop strong interpersonal and intercultural skills as well as language competences.

The IBEA study option allows students to receive a global education in a total of four years. Apart from studying five semesters at the University of Mannheim, IBEA students will spend one semester at each of the following partner universities:

  • University of South Carolina, Darla Moore School of Business, Columbia, USA (5th semester)
  • ESSEC Business School (Campus Singapore), Singapore (6th semester)
  • Fundação Getulio Vargas, Escola Brasileira de Administração Pública e de Empresas (FGV EBAPE), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (7th semester)

You will find more information on the International Business Education Alliance (IBEA) on www.ibea-bachelor.org. If you have further questions, please contact the following employee of the Dean's Office:
