Miriam Biller studied Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources at the  Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences as well as Management with a concentration in Marketing at the University of Mannheim. Additionally, she spent two semesters abroad at the University of Wyoming, USA, and the University of Gothenburg, Sweden and presented her awarded bachelor's thesis at the 16th ILERA World Congress in Philadelphia, USA.

In her master's thesis “Hype or New Business Opportunity? A Qualitative Analysis on Access-Based Consumption”, she examined under which conditions selling access instead of ownership is attractive for companies. Furthermore, Miriam Biller gained practical experiences in multinational companies in the fields of personnel development, strategic recruitment marketing as well as sales. Moreover, she worked as a student assistant at the chair of Prof. Dr. Stephan Fischer as well as the chair of Marketing & Innovation of Professor Kuester for several years.

Since February 2016, she works as a doctoral student at Professor Kuester's chair of Marketing & Innovation. Her research focuses on Customer Experience Management in Data-Rich Environments. She is particularly interested in new possibilities for interaction between companies and customers such as chatbots.
