Study Business Administration at one of Germany's leading universities

Successfully start your academic and professional career: our internationally oriented bachelor's program in business administration provides you with theoretical knowledge in subjects like marketing, finance and business informatics, and you will spend a semester abroad at one of over 200 partner universities worldwide. Workshops and guest lectures of our corporate partners that regularly visit us on campus to get in touch with you, provide you with connections to the business world and ideally prepare you for your professional career.

The bachelor's program in business administration offers you a comprehensive education, which opens the door to a more advanced master's degree program as well as a successful career start. An elective area and the integrated semester abroad allow you to look beyond your subject. To us it is particularly important to promote analytical thinking and sharpen your sense of responsibility. Special Features of the Bachelor in Business Administration

The study program consists of various components and prepares you for your future career, e.g. as a consultant, credit analyst or founder. You will get basic knowledge in various fields of business administration and acquire important management skills. The study plan below gives you an overview of the program's structure.

An integrated semester abroad as well as the module “Foreign Language Skills” ensure the program's internationality. If you are looking for an even more international experience, there are two ways: the IBEA study option with study abroad at partner universities in Brazil, the US and Singapore or our new double degree program with the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University, China.

You can arrange some parts of your studies individually by choosing an elective to deepen your insights in business administration, law or economics. Other electives include basic academic skills and managerial skills such as leadership, conflict management, negotiation training, and many more. During your semester abroad, you will be able to immerse yourself even more in fields or topics you are interested in.

As tomorrow's leaders, ethical and responsible behavior is an important factor for us while we educate you. We put a special emphasis on corporate social responsibility within the curriculum. Moreover, you have the chance to engage in one of the many student initiatives and student clubs at the University of Mannheim, that are dedicated to social projects and sustainability.

Quick Facts

What our Students Think

I chose the University of Mannheim because of its excellent reputation as one of the leading universities in economic sciences, both nationally as well as internationally. The study program is particularly attractive to me because of its international orientation: many of the courses are held in English and not only national, but also international economy is being treated. The University of Mannheim opens many doors for me and helps me in achieving my personal goals.

As a place to study, Mannheim is simply perfect! Everything is close by so that you can reach the university as well as numerous leisure activities in only a few minutes. Apart from studying, there is also the opportunity to work on projects in one of the many interesting student initiatives or the student committee. For example, I am active in the student committee for business administration.
