Mannheim Master in Management: The Specialization Entrepreneurship

The Founder's Program

You already have an innovative business idea and would like to aquire more theoretical knowledge for a successful start-up – then a master's degree within the framework of the Mannheim Master in Management with the focus on entrepreneurship is just right for you. In our courses, students have the opportunity to test different business models and develop their entrepreneurial spirit. We place particular emphasis on practical relevance. In addition, the courses provide you with important theoretical basics as well as tools for setting up your own business.

In addition to our courses, there are further offers for future founder personalities: committed student initiatives, for example, invite for exchanging ideas and networking. The Mannheim Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MCEI) offers „Acceleration Teaching Formats”. These formats are designed to accelerate the start-up process and support students in their start-ups during and after their studies through targeted coaching. In addition, we have several Chairs and Institutes that offer formats in which students can expand and complete their entrepreneurial skills they have acquired.

Funding opportunities

Students can take advantage of numerous university-, city- and regional funding opportunities. Due to our strong network with partners and alumni in the start-up scene, we pursue a “pay it forward” mentality that spans over generations. This marks the cornerstone of the University of Mannheim's start-up offer and provides our students, researchers and Alumni with access to the German and international start-up scene.
