Kateryna Gavrysh, born 1991 in Kiev, Ukraine, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich (focus on Human Resource Management and Psychology) as well as a Master’s Degree from the University of Mannheim majoring in Marketing. During her master studies, she experienced the research environment as a student assistant at the Chair of Quantitative Marketing and Consumer Analytics. Moreover, Kateryna gained practical experience in business development, market research, brand positioning and pricing through an internship in the marketing department of BASF SE.
Since September 2015 she is a doctoral candidate and research associate at the Chair of Quantitative Marketing and Consumer Analytics. Kateryna is also a PhD student at the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences at the University of Mannheim (PhD-program Marketing offered by the Center for Doctoral Studies in Business).
Her research interests lie in the field of marketing strategy and consumer behavior. Specifically, Kateryna is interested in impulsive purchasing behavior, consumer brand perceptions, pricing strategies and field experimentation.
