Michael Verbücheln is a Ph.D. candidate at the Chair of Sustainable Business. He studied Economics and Business Administration at the University of Bochum, Germany and the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. In his research he focuses on employee involvement in sustainability and employee reactions towards of Corporate Social Responsibility. More specifically, Michael investigates how to effectively engage employees in CSR activities (e.g., corporate volunteering or social intrapreneurship programs) and how active involvement in such activities influences employees’ perception of job meaningfulness and creates positive company outcomes.
