AACSB honors Mannheim Corporate Social Responsibility Chair for innovative teaching model

Accreditation agency recognizes the course "CSR Issues as Video Documentaries“ as particularly innovative and visionary.

To experience CSR projects up close and to learn about their backgrounds: CSR professor Laura Marie Schons intends to provide her students with this kind of experience. Within her master course students have the opportunity to document their CSR projects on video tape. The exchange with the interview partners during the video shootings aims at adding practical knowledge to the students’ theoretical skils of CSR.

The international  accreditation agency AACSB has awarded the teaching model of the Mannheim CSR course as especially innovative at its last “Dean’s Conference“. The University of Mannheim, Business School was thereby highlighted as a „future-oriented“ Business School. 315 projects from 33 countries were submitted to the AACSB competition “Innovations That Inspire“.
