A variety of service and production systems can be modelled as queueing systems. In our research, we focus on queueing systems that are characterized by stochastic and time-dependent arrival and service rates. We use Machine Learning Techniques such as Artificial Neural Networks as powerful and efficient tools for the performance analysis of such queueing systems.
