8th WCGE Academy for Energy and Acceptance: Energy Transition and Digitalization

The Wittenberg Center for Global Ethics is organizing an Academy for Master and PhD students interested in discussing the connection of climate change, energy politics, and digital business ethics.

From 8th to 13th March, the Wittenberg Center for Global Ethics is inviting motivated Master and PhD students to take part in their Academy for Energy and Acceptance. The academy has been conducted by the WCGE since 2012, with the support of the innogy Foundation for Energy and Society and in cooperation with the Department of Energy Management and Sustainability at the University of Leipzig. Doctoral and Master students develop their understanding of business ethics principles, enter into exchange with experts from politics, business, academia and civil society and, finally, put their learnings to the test in a simulated stakeholder dialogue in Berlin, where they experience the opportunities and limits of trust-building dialogue processes. This year's academy will focus on chances and risks of the link of digitalization and a sustainable energy transition.
