The team of the Social Innovation Summit 2019 just announced another exciting event: the HACKDAY(at)SIS19. During this one-day accelerator program, interdisciplinary teams of corporate volunteers, students, a team coach and one representative of Dell or Volkswagen will tackle solutions for better supply chain transparency and responsible business conduct.

The HACKDAY(at)SIS19 is a one-day accelerator program for five international ventures dedicated to transparency in supply chains and thereby making a sustainable contribution to responsible business practices and operations. The ventures present up to two challenges (primarily focusing on techrelated issues and if applicable, business-related) that they are currently facing. During the HACKDAY(at)SIS19, the challenges are addressed by interdisciplinary teams - composed of corporate volunteers, students, one team coach and one venture representative each. Each solution will be presented to a jury. Out of ten teams, the jury will finally choose a winner that will receive a comprehensive coaching package.

The HACKDAY(at)SIS19 takes place on Friday, 20th September 2019, from 9am - 6pm at the Wizemann Areal in Stuttgart and is integrated in the Social Innovation Summit 2019 (#SIS19) - Germany’s leading conference on social innovation & entrepreneurship. It is conducted by Volkswagen AG and Dell GmbH, proudly supported by SAP SE and organized by Social Entrepreneurship BW e.V. (SocEntBW).
