FIN 352 – International Finance (only Incoming)

Course overview

In this module, students will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in the role of foreign exchange derivatives and relevant securities to international financial transactions. Special emphasis will be given to the understanding of how these forex derivatives can be used for developing successful risk management strategies and how to price these derivatives (such as forwards, futures, options, swaps). Particular focus will be put to the concepts of hedging, arbitrage and speculation. Students will have the opportunity to perform numerical calculations, which will equip them with critical knowledge for financial decision making in an international business context.
