CFA Partnership

As participant in the CFA Institute’s University Affiliation Program (UAP), the University of Mannheim can award a limited number of scholarship to its students. The Chair of Accounting and Capital Markets administers this process.

Any student enrolled at the University of Mannheim who meets the CFA Exam registration requirements is eligible and can apply for a scholarship, regardless of whether the student is enrolled in the affiliated degree program, or even the in the business school. Please see below for details regarding the application process and the relevant documents. The scholarships can awarded regardless of the level (I, II, or III) of the exam.

Students who receive UAP scholarships receive a reduced exam registration fee of US$350 and the program enrollment fee is waived . The regular pricing structure based on the timing of the registration does not apply to scholarship applicants. Students who applied for a scholarship but do not to receive it can participate in the exam for the early registration price regardless of the time of their scholarship application submission. That is, if they submit a scholarship application at any time during the application window but are not selected for a scholarship, they will still receive the early registration price (disclaimer: as of July 2020).

It is very important to note that students should not register for the exam prior to applying for a scholarship. Once a student registers for the exam, the access to the scholarship application platform is blocked. After students are informed of the outcome of the scholarship application, they can register for the exam.
