Dr. Thomas Cauthorn joined the University of Mannheim as an assistant professor in the Finance Area, working at the Chair of Financial Markets and Financial Institutions. Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Kassel in the Chair of Sustainable Finance. He earned his Dr. rer. pol. (summa cum laude, Deutsche Bundesbank Prize) from the University of Kassel under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Christian Klein. Dr. Cauthorn also holds an M.S. in Business from the University of Kassel and a B.A. in History from the University of Oregon.
