To get to know the new team better, the members introduce themselves briefly below:
“I'm Veselina and I'm currently studying Business Administration at the University of Mannheim. I am particularly interested in accounting and taxes. That's why I chose IFRS as an elective area. In my free time, I like to travel or take part in various cultural activities.”
“My name is Anne Carlotta and next semester I will be supporting MaFAT from my semester abroad in Seoul, Korea. I decided to study business administration in 2022 because I've been interested in finance and accounting for a long time. Last semester I already had the chance to attend many exciting events through MaFAT and so I am looking forward to helping with the planning and organization next year.”
“I'm Emanuel and I'm in my second semester of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, as I've always been interested in finance. This summer I'm doing an internship in tax consultancy to gain practical experience. In my free time, I like to ride my racing bike and am interested in basketball.”
“I'm Michael and I'm currently studying Business Administration in my 4th semester. I will be spending the coming semester abroad at Kozminski University in Warsaw. As I am very interested in the fields of accounting and taxation, the various MaFAT events in the past were the ideal opportunity for me to gain in-depth practical insights and make important company contacts. I am therefore very much looking forward to being part of the new board and organizing more interesting workshops together with our corporate partners.”
“My name is Simon, I am a second semester business administration student. I've been interested in accounting since I was a senior at business school and would now like to deepen this interest at MaFAT. I like boxing in my free time. I'm already looking forward to my time at MaFAT and the experiences that come with it.”
“My name is Lia and I'm currently studying corporate law in my second semester. Before that, I was able to gain more than half a year of practical experience in tax consulting and auditing, which has increased my interest in tax law topics in particular. I am all the more pleased to now be part of the MaFAT team and to be able to actively participate in the organization of exciting workshops. Outside of my studies, I enjoy traveling and playing tennis or golf with friends.”
“My name is Till! I'm studying law and have just completed the coursework for my Bachelor's degree. He is on his way to the first law exam in Mannheim. At the MaFAT Student Club events, I always gather lots of impressions of companies and new subject areas for me. Now I'm looking forward to shaping the coming year together with the other team members!”
“I'm Anna, I'm studying Business Administration and I'm spending my next semester in Victoria, Canada, where I'll be coordinating, organizing and planning the workshops. I joined the board last year and am now looking forward to the upcoming time with the new team, in which we will organize many interesting and exciting events, implement new ideas and hopefully bring the topics of accounting and taxation closer to many students.”
