Dr. Baris Istipliler

Während seines MSc Studiums an der Universität Mannheim hat Baris bei mehreren MNCs gearbeitet und Erfahrungen in den Bereichen Treasury & Investor Relations, Controlling, Entrepreneurial Finance, Financial Accounting sowie Operations gesammelt. Seine Forschungsinteressen liegen in den Bereichen unternehmerische Kognition und Verhalten, KMU-Innovation sowie transgenerationales Unternehmertum und Familienunternehmensforschung. Seine Forschungsartikel wurden in Zeitschriften wie Organization Science, Journal of Management Studies, British Journal of Management, Small Business Economics, Journal of Business Research und Journal of Small Business Management veröffentlicht.
Baris verbrachte den Zeitraum zwischen September 2021 und Januar 2022 an der Stanford University als Gastwissenschaftler bei SCANCOR. Sein Aufenthalt wurde durch ein DAAD-Stipendium gefördert. Er ist zudem Stipendiat des Joachim Herz Stiftung Add-on Fellowships für Interdisziplinäre Wirtschaftswissenschaften im Zeitraum 2025–2026.
Baris ist außerdem als Associate Editor für das Journal of Small Business Management und als Mitglied des Editorial Review Boards für das Journal of Family Business Strategy tätig.
