Baris Istipliler ist seit Anfang 2018 wissenschaft­licher Mitarbeiter und Doktorand an der Universität Mannheim, Lehr­stuhl für Entrepreneurship und SME-Forschung. Er erhielt seinen M.Sc. von der Universität Mannheim.

Kurzportrait

Während seines Studiums hat Baris bei mehreren MNCs gearbeitet und Erfahrungen in den Bereichen Treasury & Investor Relations, Controlling, Entrepreneurial Finance, Financial Accounting sowie Operations gesammelt. Seine Forschungs­interessen liegen in den Bereichen unternehmerische Kognition und Verhalten, unternehmerisches Scheitern, KMU-Innovation sowie transgenerationales Unternehmertum und Familien­unternehmens­forschung. Er fungiert auch als Gutachter für Business Ethics: A European ReviewJournal of Family Business Strategy und Junior Management Science.

Baris verbrachte den Zeitraum zwischen September 2021 und Januar 2022 an der Stanford University als Gast­wissenschaft­ler bei SCANCOR. Sein Aufenthalt wurde durch ein DAAD-Stipendium gefördert.
