Baris Istipliler ist Habilitand an der Universität Mannheim, Lehr­stuhl für Entrepreneurship und Mittelstandsforschung. Er hat seine Promotion an der Universität Mannheim mit summa cum laude abgeschlossen.

Kurzportrait

Während seines MSc Studiums an der Universität Mannheim hat Baris bei mehreren MNCs gearbeitet und Erfahrungen in den Bereichen Treasury & Investor Relations, Controlling, Entrepreneurial Finance, Financial Accounting sowie Operations gesammelt. Seine Forschungs­interessen liegen in den Bereichen unternehmerische Kognition und Verhalten, KMU-Innovation sowie transgenerationales Unternehmertum und Familien­unternehmens­forschung. Seine Forschungs­artikel wurden in Zeitschriften wie Small Business EconomicsJournal of Business Research und Journal of Small Business Management veröffentlicht.

Baris verbrachte den Zeitraum zwischen September 2021 und Januar 2022 an der Stanford University als Gast­wissenschaft­ler bei SCANCOR. Sein Aufenthalt wurde durch ein DAAD-Stipendium gefördert.
