Course Content
- Introduction and basic definitions in the field of information systems, as well as the structure and organization of information systems
- Development of information systems: Project management and development processes, as well as selected analysis and design techniques
- Management of information systems: IT management framework, IT organization, IS investments, IS implementation
Learning Outcome
The students can explain the interaction between information technologies, people, and organizations. They are familiar with the various approaches to developing information systems as well as the fundamental techniques for requirements analysis and the design of information systems. They understand the operational and strategic processes involved in the management of information systems. They are aware of the various factors that influence the development and management of information systems, as well as the perspectives of different stakeholders, and can evaluate decisions in this context. They can analyze the requirements for an information system and present them in a structured format, specifically in the form of behavioral and structural diagrams.
