    Recognizing Credits of MMM and bachelor's courses

    Students in the MMM can find information on course recognition and learning agreements here; M. Sc. students in business education will find them here. The business school’s undergraduate and double degree students will be informed directly by the dean’s office. Students from other schools with a minor in business should contact Cathrin Rieger at the dean’s office.

    Mannheim Bussines School

    Mannheim Business School (MBS) is the umbrella organization for management education at the University of Mannheim. It is accredited by AACSB International, EQUIS and AMBA and listed as best German institution, among the top 20 in Europe, and among the top 60 worldwide in the world’s most influential rankings.

    Mannheim MBA

    The Mannheim MBA, one of the best programs of its kind in Europe, is a comprehensive general management program targeted at international, high-potential professionals with at least three years postgraduate work experience. Both a full-time (Mannheim Full-Time MBA) and a part-time (Mannheim Part-Time MBA) option are available.

     

    Executive MBA Programs

    Mannheim Business School offers three different part-time Executive MBA programs (EMBAs). They are tailored to the needs of established executives with a minimum of eight years professional experience. The Mannheim Executive MBA is weekend-based while two modular programs are offered with renowned international partner institutions. The ESSEC & MANNHEIM Executive MBA is the result of long and successful collaboration with ESSEC Business School (Paris and Singapore). For the MANNHEIM & TONGJI Executive MBA, an EMBA program with a strong Sino-German focus, Mannheim has joined forces with the School of Economics & Management of Tongji University (Shanghai).
     

    Mannheim Master of Accounting & Taxation

    The Mannheim Master of Accounting & Taxation aims to provide young professionals in the fields of accounting and taxation with the theoretical basis as well as the practical skills necessary to successfully meet the demands of their business. Both tracks, Accounting and Taxation, are offered in a modular, part-time format, with an overall program duration of three years. The Accounting Track is accredited by AQAS according to § 8a WPO. The program is taught primarily in German language and prepares for the German Tax Advisor or German Certified Public Accountant Exam.

  • Letters of Recommendation

    Letters of recommendation

    Letters of recommendation for all students of business administration are allocated centrally by the dean's office of the Business School. All information required for requesting a letter of recommendation can be found on the website of the Business School. In case of further questions, please contact the dean's office (gutachten.bwl@uni-mannheim.de). All other students, please contact the dean's office of your respective school.

    For letters of recommendation, for which Prof. Wüstemann has been appointed by the dean's office, please contact the secretary's office of the chair (O251–261). The following documents are required:

    • school report of your A-levels
    • transcript of records
    • current peer group ranking by the student service office (upon request)
    • CV
    • references from internships
    • letter of motivation as attached to the application (if required by the institution)
    • description of the program you are applying for (link)
    • preprinted form

    Please inform us by which date when you need the letter of recommendation and what address (or internet link) it will be send to. We will then contact you in order to arrange an interview.
