Prof. Dr. Erik Theissen

Erik Theissen joined the University of Mannheim in fall 2009 and holds the Chair of Finance. Previously, he was a professor at the department of economics at the University of Bonn.

His work focuses on empirical capital market research. It has been published in numerous academic journals like the Review of Financial Studies, the Review of Finance and the Journal of Banking & Finance.

Exam Review FIN606 FinTech

The exam review for FIN606 FinTech (first and retake exam) will take place on February 29th, 2024 starting at 10:15am, in L9,1–2. To review your exam, please send an eMail to Stefan Scharnowski by February 27th. You will then receive further instructions.

Vacancy Student Assistants

We are looking for students studying Business Administration or Economics (preferably master students) for a vacancy as student assistant. The workload is 20–30 hours per month.
