LeAP – Learning Analytics Profiles

Project

The LeAP project should generate a theoretical, empirical and practical value in the light of the current e-learning specification of the universities in Baden-Wuerttemberg and the e-learning strategy of the University of Mannheim:
1. validated choice and shape of data that should be analyzed and presented to learners (and teachers), based on learning theory and pedagogical decisions,
2. an empirically validated choice on which parameters should be considered by the analyzing algorithms, with a special focus on learning content and curriculum goals,
3. linkage of the university's technical infrastructure (ILIAS and HISinOne) and implementation of a learning analytics application as plug-in for the universities in Baden-Wuerttemberg.
