STELA – Student Success with Learning Analytics

Project

To predict the completion success of university students' studies and to support teaching-learning processes through adaptive and personalized systems, the “Learning Analytics” approach is increasingly used internationally. Learning Analytics uses dynamically generated data from learners and learning environments to analyze and visualize learning data in real time. The aim of the project is to produce a systematic review on forecasting models and support systems for study success using learning analytics. Based on the findings of relevant national and international studies on learning analytics in connection with academic success, recommendations for German universities are derived.
