Prof. Dr. Bernd Helmig

The scientists at the chair of Business Administration, Public & Nonprofit Management of professor Helmig, conduct research projects on different topics dealing with professional management in organizations, aiming at contributing to the public weal. 

The mission of the chair is to generate and transfer knowledge to management of organizations oriented to the public weal. This knowledge is generated by means of fundamental research, as well as applied research, and contract research. Furthermore, this knowledge is also transferred to the public by means of publications (articles in scientific journals, practitioner magazines, books), university courses (BA, MA, PhD), continuing education activities (MBA programs, executive programs, in-house programs, seminars, talks) and projects with practice partners.
