Doctoral candidate Martin Sievert appointed as Assistant Professor in Public Administration

Martin Sievert started as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Public Administration at Leiden University (Netherlands)

On 1 October 2022, doctoral candidate Martin Sievert started his new assistant professorship at Leiden University (Netherlands). Well deserved! Have a great start, Martin!

In this position, he will be part of the Public Management & Leadership group at the Institute of Public Administration (https://www.universiteitleiden.nl/en/governance-and-global-affairs/institute-of-public-administration).

Martin Sievert is doctoral candidate at the chair for public and nonprofit management (Prof. Dr. Bernd Helmig) since 2018. His research addresses organizational legitimacy, public sector recruiting, representative bureaucracy, and behavioral public administration. He worked as an academic staff member at our chair and will defend his dissertation in 2023.
