Aurelia Auracher has been an external doctoral student at the Endowed Chair of Procurement since July 2025. She completed her Master in Management (M.Sc.) at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. As part of this, she completed study visits to the IE Business School and the London School of Economics and Political Science. In her Master's thesis, she dealt with the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on manufacturing companies. She analyzed the impact on supply chains and investigated measures to increase resilience in the supply chain.
Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management, Philosophy & Economics (B.Sc.), also at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, with a further study visit to the EDHEC Business School. She received the Manufacturing Management Award from Frankfurt School and NORMA Group for her Bachelor's thesis.
During her studies, she gained a wide range of practical experience, including at Porsche Consulting, where she joined as a consultant after completing an internship. In this role, she worked on strategic and international projects in the automotive industry with a focus on operations strategy.
Her research interests lie in the areas of supply chain resilience and supply management.
