Everardo Castolo Oviedo

Everardo Castolo Oviedo has been an external doctoral researcher at the Endowed Chair of Procurement since October 2025. He earned an M.Sc. in Technology-Oriented Management from Technische Universität Braunschweig and previously completed an engineering degree in Industrial Engineering at the Instituto Tecnológico de Puebla. His study-abroad terms included Polytech Lille and Universidade Federal Fluminense.

His research examines how AI-assisted software development transforms software cost estimation and value engineering, and the implications for procurement and value analysis. In parallel, he works in the Value Engineering team at Volkswagen in Wolfsburg.
