Profil

Christopher Schwarz has been an external doctoral candidate at the Endowed Chair of Procurement since March 2026.

He completed master’s programs in Supply Chain Management and Digital Transport & Logistics Management at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria (Austria).

Prior to that, he earned his bachelor’s degree in International Logistics Management, also at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria, including a semester abroad at Linnaeus University (Sweden). During his studies, he gained practical experience at companies including Wacker Neuson Linz GmbH, CNH Industrial Austria GmbH, and MAN Steyr (now Steyr Automotive).

In addition to his doctoral studies, Christopher works at the Supply Chain Intelligence Institute Austria (ASCII) and at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria (FH OÖ) as a research associate in the field of supply chain management. His research interests lie in the areas of supply chain transformation and supply chain risk.
