Torben Taros, M.Sc.

Torben Taros has been an external doctoral candidate at the Endowed Chair of Procurement since July 2025.

He studied International Management/CEMS (M.Sc.) at the Rotterdam School of Management and the University of St. Gallen and earned his Bachelor's degree in International Business Administration (B.Sc.) from the University of Twente, Netherlands. His academic focus was on international business strategy, supply chain management, and intercultural communication.

During his studies, he gained practical experience in Mexico, China, and Germany, particularly in the automotive industry and management consulting.

His research focuses on the transformation of supplier relationships in the context of the increasing internationalization of Chinese automotive manufacturers.

Alongside his research, he works as a consultant at Volkswagen Group Consulting China in Beijing.
