As one of the leading research labs in the fields of quantitative marketing, marketing analytics, AI in companies and data-driven decision-making, the Research Group of Quantitative Marketing at the University of Mannheim offers companies, academic partners and institutions a wide range of opportunities for collaboration.
1. Cooperation with Companies in Academic Research
Together with 30+ corporate partners, we carry out business-centric research projects in the fields of quantitative marketing, business analytics and artificial intelligence. The aim is to analyze and better understand topics and interrelationships in complex business problems and to reveal the most appropriate management approaches in a scientifically sound manner and develop data-based solutions. Typical projects range from the analysis of customer behaviour and dynamic pricing to the optimization of marketing strategies using modern machine learning methods. Companies provide the data for these projects and benefit from the latest know-how, methodological excellence and innovative solutions.
2. Collaboration with Renowned Experts and Scientists in Academic Research
The research team has been collaborating in academic research with 15+ scientific experts and leading scientists worldwide for more than 20 years. As we see collaboration as essential to develop new scientific findings, we are always open to new collaborations with national and international researchers from related disciplines. Joint research projects result in scientific publications, new methodological approaches and interdisciplinary applications. Whether as part of third-party funded projects, research networks or guest stays – we look forward to exchanging ideas with colleagues who share our interest in data-driven marketing.
3. Support in Recruiting and Evidence-Based Advice for Companies
We support companies in recruiting new employees and offer evidence-based expert advice to solve complex business challenges. We use our scientific expertise to develop tailor-made strategies, provide decision-making aids or analyze and optimize existing processes.
