In the past, the following people were involved in research and teaching at the Chair of Quantitative Marketing and Consumer Analytics:
Dr. Andreas U. Lanz, University of Basel
From 2013 to 2019, Andreas Lanz did a Ph.D. followed by postdoctoral studies at the Chair of Quantitative Marketing and Consumer Analytics. He then accepted a tenure-track position from HEC Paris (France) as Assistant Professor of Marketing. Since September 2023 he is Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) at the University of Basel.
Dr. Verena Schoenmueller, ESADE
Verena Schoenmueller is Assistant Professor at the ESADE Ramon Llull University in Barcelona (Spain). Between 2014 and 2018 Verena Schoenmüller collaborated with the chair in various research projects.
Dr. Daniela Schmitt, Nova SBE
Daniela Schmitt is Assistant Professor at Nova SBE in Lisbon (Portugal). Daniela Schmitt worked at the chair between 2014 and 2021. Her research focuses on digital marketing. She is particularly interested in pricing and consumption of digital products.
Dr. Carmen-Maria Albrecht, FH Münster
Carmen-Maria Albrecht is Professor at the University of Applied Sciences Münster. She was Assistant Professor at the University of Mannheim from 2010 to 2016. Her research interests lie primarily in the areas of consumer behavior, branding and retail marketing.
Dr. Sabrina Haas
From 2016 to 2019, Dr. Sabrina Haass worked at the Chair of Quantitative Marketing and Consumer Analytics. Her research interests were Big Data and machine learning.
Dr. Veronica Valli, University of Bologna
From 2013 to 2019 Veronica Valli did a Ph.D. at the Chair of Quantitative Marketing and Consumer Analytics. Her research interests were consumer decision-making and framing effects. Currently Dr. Veronica Valli is a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Bologna.
Dr. Katharina Gawrisch, WELLA GmbH
From 2015 to 2021, Dr Katharina Gawrisch was employed at the Chair of Quantitative Marketing and Consumer Behaviour. Her research focused in particular on marketing-crisis management, customer acquisition and retention strategies as well as brand building and brand positioning. Dr Katharina Gawrisch now works as a data analyst at WELLA GmbH in Darmstadt.
