Ph.D. in Operations Management
The structured Ph.D. program in Operations Management at the Center for Doctoral Studies in Business (CDSB) offers fully funded scholarships for outstanding talents. Within this program, doctoral candidates are trained to apply theoretical, data-driven, or empirical analysis to advance knowledge in predictive and prescriptive business analytics. Application areas are broad with projects in production management, supply chain management, service operations management, and procurement; see an overview in the area homepage.
The program offers prescriptive and predictive analytics oriented courses with a methodological focus in stochastic modelling, data-driven optimization, or optimization algorithms, and a high flexibility in thesis-oriented courses, see this flyer (PDF, 303 kB).
Alternatively, a direct start at the Chair of Production Management as a Research Assistant is also possible. Please refer to our job offerings for the availability of such positions.
