OPM 504 Trans­portation II

Content:  

This lecture gives an introduction to the quickly changing world of airline companies and their business activities. The topics of the lecture are: aviation history, aviation technology, aviation and environment, air traffic development (historic and forecast), air trans­port policy, airline management (strategy, operations, financing, marketing & sales etc.), air cargo trans­port, airports and air traffic control systems. 

Learning outcomes:  

Students will understand the dynamics and interdependencies of the global aviation industry.

They learn about the characteristics of airline management in various areas.
