Course Information

  • Brief Description

    Contents

This course examines the role of integrated information systems in enabling and supporting SAP S/4HANA key end-to-end business processes in industrial firms, from customer-facing activities (Lead-to-Cash) to manufacturing-facing operations (Plan-to-Produce). Based on two in-depth case studies in the design furniture industry, participants learn how such systems link core business functions and shape corresponding functional interdependencies. The course further confers benefits and risks of system deployment and migration, including the role of legacy systems, data management and process redesign. Participants are provided the opportunity to investigate and enrich selected in-depth topics of the Mannheim case studies independently to enhance case-based learning.
