The Research Campi M²OLIE – Mannheim Molecular Intervention Environment and STIMULATE – Solution Centre for Image Guided Local Therapies are pleased to announce the call for abstracts for the 4th “Image-Guided Interventions Conference (IGIC)” at the university hospital Mannheim on 4th and 5th November 2019.
The main topic is “Digitalization in Medicine”.
Digitalization in Medicine is of paramount importance for image-guided and robotic assisted interventions in oncology and neurology in order to meet the growing challenge of storage, analysis, and allocation of various patient data which are generated by diagnostics and therapy during their hospital stay.
The topics for the submission of abstracts are:
- Multi-dimensional Data Acquisition and Analysis
- New Techniques for clinical Image-guided Interventions
- Intelligent Systems in the Intervention Room
- Digital Lab: ePathology and molecular Diagnostics
- Data analytics and Artificial Intelligence

Abstract deadline is 6th September. Information about acceptance will be sent on 27th September.
