The student organization Enactus Mannheim, supported by the Chair of Marketing & Innovation, reached the semi-finals of the Enactus World Cup 2018 and is one of the top 12 teams worldwide. This year the World Cup took place in the heart of Silicon Valley in San José, CA, USA. Students from 36 countries presented their project successes of the academic year in the competition taking place from 9–11 October 2018. Enactus Mannheim convinced the experienced jury of business representatives with the projects BLAUHERZ. and Effishent. BLAUHERZ. produces clothing for people with disabilities together with socially disadvantaged people in the Rhine-Neckar region. With Effishent, Enactus Mannheim implements innovative farming systems in the fight against malnutrition in countries around the equator.
