Successful 18th Academic Symposium „Supply Management“ at the University of Mannheim

For the 9th consecutive time in Mannheim.

On March 10 and 11, 2025, the University of Mannheim hosted the 18th Academic Symposium „Supply Management,“ organized by the team of Endowed Chair of Procurement in collaboration with the Academic Advisory Board of the German Association for Supply Chain Management, Procurement, and Logistics (BME).

The symposium served as an excellent platform for junior and established scholars and industry practitioners to engage in meaningful dialogue. Great research presentations were delivered by finalists of the „BME Science Award 2025“. Covered topics included strategic procurement, sustainability, integration of artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity within supply chain management.

A particular highlight of the symposium was the festive evening event, during which the BME Science Awards were presented. Additionally, the event featured a stimulating panel discussion and insightful keynote speeches from leading experts, addressing current trends and emerging challenges in supply management.

We sincerely thank all participants for their valuable contributions and look forward to welcoming everyone to next year's symposium.
