Prof. Dr. Armin Heinzl gewinnt AIS Fellow Award

Für seinen außergewöhnlichen Beitrag zum Forschungsgebiet „Information Systems“ wurde Prof. Dr. Armin Heinzl auf der diesjährigen „International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS)“ mit dem AIS Fellow Award ausgezeichnet.
Die Auszeichnung soll Mitgliedern der AIS-Gemeinschaft zuteilwerden, welche in den Bereichen Forschung, Lehre und Service herausragende Beiträge zum Fachgebiet „Information Systems“ geleistet haben. Außerdem wird erwartet, dass er oder sie einen bedeutenden globalen Beitrag zum Fachgebiet „Information Systems“ sowie einen herausragenden lokalen Beitrag im Kontext des jeweiligen Landes oder der Region geleistet hat. Der Erhalt der Auszeichnung ist eine große Ehre und wir wollen ihm dazu herzlichst gratulieren.

Mechthild Pieper gewinnt AISD First Award

Für ihre Veröffentlichung mit dem Titel „Micro-Randomized Trials in Information Systems Research: Introducing a Novel Method to Advance Knowledge About Individual Behavior in Our Digitalized World” wurde Mechthild Pieper mit dem AISD First Award ausgezeichnet.

Die Auszeichnung soll neuen Mitgliedern der AISD Gemeinschaft zuteilwerden, welche eine herausragende erste Veröffentlichung eines Artikels in einer renommierten Fachzeitschrift gelungen ist. Der Erhalt der Auszeichnung ist eine große Ehre und wir wollen ihr dazu herzlichst gratulieren.

Der Beitrag untersucht das experimentelle Design der Micro-Radnomized Trials und dessen effektiven Einsatz in der Informationssystemsforschung. Die vorgestellte Methodik ermöglicht es, dynamische Phänomene im Zeitverlauf experimentell zu analysieren und eröffnet so neue Möglichkeiten zur Weiterentwicklung theoretischer Ansätze und zur Verbesserung digitaler Interaktion.
