Dear students,
We are happy to announce the details about our test exam on Thursday and the date for our Q&A session before the actual exam.

Test Exam:

  • Thursday, April 30, 14:00 - 14:30
  • Download of the test exam is possible from 13:50 on, upload of your answers is possible until 14:40 (10 minutes additional time before and after test exam)
  • Please read the instructions on ILIAS and on the test exam sheet and follow them closely
  • Please make sure to refresh the ILIAS page if you want to see how much time you have left (does not update automatically)
  • Please make sure to upload a PDF file with your answers
  • Do not write your name on the solution sheet or in the file name
  • The test exam will not be graded. You have 30 minutes and the maximum number of points is 30. Like the actual exam, it includes three questions that account for one third of the points each.
  • If you are registered for the course, you will be automatically added to an additional ILIAS group latest 24 hours before the test exam. If you have not been added by then or cannot access the group, please contact me immediately at p.kunz(at)uni-mannheim.de, but latest 2 hours before the test exam. Otherwise we cannot make sure you can participate in the test exam.

Q&A Session:

  • Monday, May 11, 15:30 - 17:00
  • If you have any questions you would like us to answer, please send them to us by Friday, May 8, 12:00 noon. Please send questions about the lecture to Ekaterina (jussupow(at)uni-mannheim.de) and questions about the exercise to me (p.kunz(at)uni-mannheim.de). We will select the most relevant questions and discuss them in the session.
  • We will also briefly discuss the test exam in the session.
  • Access details have been sent out via mail and published in the ILIAS group.

The following details from our previous announcements still hold:

  • Exam content: The online exam will have the same overall structure and focus areas as we discussed throughout the course. Each task will account for one third of the points. The first task will focus on Business Process Modeling, the second task will include open-ended questions about the lecture contents, and the third task will require you to answer questions based on SAP screenshots. You will be able to solve all tasks by writing text and calculations; it will not be required to draw a process model or anything else. We still recommend that you practice process modeling as we will use other kinds of questions to assess your modeling skills.
  • Subject matter relevant for the exam: Any additional content from the planned guest lecture, the tutorial recap session, and the simulation sessions in the tutorials will not be relevant for the exam. All lectures (0-10), exercises (1-5), and tutorials (1-8) remain relevant for the exam.
  • ILIAS board: We encourage you to continue using the ILIAS board to ask questions and discuss with your fellow students.

Best regards and take care,
Pascal Kunz
