The tutorial is relevant for the exam and can only be attended if you register on time.

Please use your „degree planner“ in Portal2, select your course of studies and then the course „IS 401 Integrated Information Systems – Tutorium“. You need to assign your priorities to all 14 tutorial groups in order to receive a seat. Your final assignment will also be shown in your degree planner later.
IMPORTANT: Please do not register using the search function, this has been causing errors in the past.

Course Materials:
Please join the cross-semester ILIAS group „Integrated Information Systems (Semester­übergreifend)“. Details will be announced in the first lecture.
Lehr­methode Course content is taught in lecture style. Exercises require student preparation and participation to (a) enable skill development in business process modeling and (b) deepen and critically discuss course contents. Tutorials work through a case study in an SAP ERP system in a classroom setting with tutor supervision and support. Tutorials require prior registration by the announced deadline. All three parts of the course are relevant for the exam.

  • Kurzbeschreibung

    In the kick-off meeting an introduction to process modeling will be given. In subsequent sessions, we will discuss the use of integrated information systems with a focus on manufacturing and trading industries.

    Furthermore, fundamentals of management support systems (Business Intelligence) will be presented.

    By the end of the semester, the participants of the lecture will be able to model complex operational tasks with the help of well-established modeling methods. Additionally, the participants will be in the position to discuss the potential of the use of integrated information systems in manufacturing companies and to analyze and understand comprehensive process dependencies.
