On March 6th and 7th, we had the pleasure to host the 16th Academic Symposium on Supply Management of the Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft, Einkauf und Logistik e.V. (BME) here in Mannheim.
Among the many highlights were the welcome address by Dr. Helena Melnikov, the keynote talks from Jan Grothe and Prof. Dr. Matthias Schlipf, the panel discussion on energy procurement with Ralf Heckmann (Südzucker), Torsten Oster (Heidelberg Materials), and Prof. Dr. Nikolas Wölfing (HWG Ludwigshafen and MISES, University of Mannheim), and the presentations of the finalists for the 2023 BME Science Award in the category dissertation.
