👥 Meet Johannes Gölz

📚 Johannes holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).

🔎 His research looks at how artificial intelligence is reshaping digital content platforms: how it changes creator-audience relations­hips, how platform-level AI policies affect creators, and what real-world consequences these changes have for platforms, creators, and users.

📸 Outside of research, he likes to stay active, enjoys traveling to new destinations, going on bike rides, and capturing those moments through photography. “It is a great co­unter­balance to the analytical side of my work. It keeps me curious and sends me back to the desk with a fresh perspective,” he says.

🏁 Johannes is now entering the final phase of his PhD and is excited to see where this fast-moving field takes us next.
