„Strategic Procurement“ heißt jetzt „Supply Management“ – sonst ändert sich nix

Starting in the next academic year 2026/2027, two of our flag­ship master's courses are getting new names. OPM 591 will be renamed from „Strategic Procurement“ to „Supply Management“, and OPM 692 will shorten from „Strategic Sourcing“ to simply „Sourcing“.

What stays the same: everything else. Both courses continue to deliver the well-crafted, research-grounded, and highly relevant content our students have come to expect from our master-level offerings.

The rename reflects our alignment with the new Mannheim Master in Operations & Supply Chain Management (MMOSCM), launching this fall – a program designed to meet the growing demand for rigorous, integrated expertise across the full supply chain. The updated course titles better signal their place within this broader curriculum.
