Professor Ifenthaler receives AERA International Research Collaboration Award

The American Educational Research Association (AERA) honoured the ongoing research collaboration of Professor Ifenthaler and Professor Sahin emphasising their contribution to the scientific community focussed on adaptive testing, learning analytics as well as advancing rigorous evidence in higher education learning and teaching.

The research collaboration was established more than five years ago and contributed to the scientific and practical community in many ways related to the intersection of Technology, Instruction, Cognition, and Learning. The AERA International Research Collaboration Award was presented by the Special Interest Group TILC at the AERA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia, PA, USA on 14 April 2024.

The American Educational Research Association (AERA), founded in 1916, is concerned with improving the educational process by encouraging scholarly inquiry related to education and evaluation and by promoting the dissemination and practical application of research results. AERA’s more than 25,000 members are faculty, researchers, graduate students, and other distinguished professionals with rich and diverse expertise in education research.
